Fabulous Flixs: Preacher’s Kid Movie Review

We had the opportunity to view LeToya Luckett in her debut film, Preacher’s Kids, and we gotta give it to her. The girl has talent. LeToya starred as a young woman that was still under the thumb of her preacher father who decides to move out into the world against her father’s wishes. LeToya finds her passion for stage plays as she sneaks out and watches the man of her dreams.

The film was refreshing to see. It’s wasn’t the same ole, same ole that you usually get when you watch black film. It had a purpose that was stressed throughout the entire movie. The characters were very well developed and the actors did splendid jobs. The movie also starred R&B singer Tank, Essence Atkins, and Clifton Powell. The film was very uplifting and informative.

If you haven’t already, go and check it out.
